About the practice

Advice rooted in pensions, households, and Welsh meeting rooms

Keystone Frame Financial Advisory exists for people who want UK financial advice stated in ordinary language — with documents they can keep, not a revolving product pitch.

Advisers in discussion around a meeting table

Origin

The practice began with retirement conversations for public-sector and private-sector workers near Great Becker, Wales — people arriving with multiple workplace pensions and no single place to see how the pieces fitted. The name “Keystone Frame” reflects that role: hold the load-bearing decisions (when to take income, what to leave alone, what to insure) so the rest of the plan can sit securely.

Mission

We help clients across Great Britain make concrete financial decisions — retirement income sequencing, pension consolidation, inheritance intentions, and protection after mortgage changes — through regulated advice and written plans they can share with family.

Working approach

We charge for advice time and documentation, disclosed before the main session. Recommendations name specific schemes, cover levels, and tax considerations. Where a product arrangement is needed later, that fee is discussed separately so the planning conversation is not steered by commission alone.

Rhys focuses on protection needs after remortgage and inheritance tax conversations that stay with gifts, nil-rate bands, and family intentions rather than product-first scripts.

Values in practice

  • Write recommendations a client can reread without a glossary.
  • Prefer keeping a valuable old pension guarantee over tidy consolidation.
  • Disclose fees before the main consultation begins.
  • Respect that some households need more time between the plan and any action.
