Refunds & cancellations

These terms apply to paid consultations with Keystone Frame Financial Advisory (retirement income planning, pension consolidation reviews, inheritance conversations, protection assessments, and investment suitability reviews). They do not cover goods, software subscriptions, or products we do not sell.

Eligibility

Refunds relate to fees paid for advice engagements. Complimentary introductory calls carry no charge and therefore no refund.

Timeframe

Cancellation or refund requests should be emailed to hello@automation-frameworks.digital as soon as possible, and ideally at least five working days before a booked main session.

Full refund

If you cancel more than five working days before the main consultation and we have not yet begun substantive document review, we refund fees paid in full, including any deposit.

Partial refund

If you cancel within five working days, or after we have started reviewing your documents, we may retain a portion reflecting time already spent — typically up to 40% of the engagement fee — and refund the remainder.

Non-refundable items

Once a written plan or summary has been delivered, the fee for that engagement is non-refundable. Third-party charges (for example pension scheme information fees paid on your behalf with your consent) are non-refundable once incurred.

Refund process

Email us with your name, the consultation type, payment date, and reason. We confirm eligibility within five working days.

Processing time and method

Approved refunds are returned by the original payment method within fourteen working days of approval.

Cancellation and rescheduling

You may reschedule once without charge if you give at least three working days’ notice. Further reschedules may incur an administration fee of £75. We will offer a new date within a reasonable period.

Deposits

A deposit used to reserve a session is credited toward the engagement fee. It is refundable under the full-refund rules above; otherwise it may be retained as described under partial refunds.

No-shows

If you miss a booked main session without notice, we may treat the deposit as forfeited and charge for adviser time set aside, up to 50% of the agreed fee, before offering a new date.

Work already started

Document review, cash-flow modelling, and drafting count as work started. Fees reflect that time even if you later decide not to proceed with recommendations.

Exceptions

If we cancel a session for reasons on our side, you may choose a full refund or a new date at no extra cost. Statutory consumer rights that cannot be excluded remain available.
