What we collect

From enquiry forms: name, email, consultation interest, optional preferred meeting window, and the message you write. During an engagement we may also collect financial details you provide (pension statements, expenditure notes, policy schedules) necessary to deliver advice.

Purposes and lawful bases

We process enquiry data to respond to requests (legitimate interests / steps toward a contract). We process engagement data to provide regulated advice and meet record-keeping duties (contract and legal obligation).

Retention

General website enquiries that do not become clients are typically kept up to twenty-four months. Advice files are retained for periods required by UK financial services rules — often several years after the last advice — then securely deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Depending on applicable UK data protection law, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, or portability, and you may object to certain processing. You may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. Contact us first so we can address your concern.

International transfers

We aim to store client files within the United Kingdom or European Economic Area. If a processor outside those regions is used (for example encrypted email infrastructure), we require appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses where required by law.
