Fees
What a consultation typically costs
Fees are for advice time and written documentation. Exact figures are confirmed after an introductory call once we know how many pension schemes, policies, or accounts are involved. Pricing is informational — there is no online checkout.
| Consultation | Typical fee basis | What drives the figure |
|---|---|---|
| Retirement Income Planning | From £1,850 fixed engagement | Number of pots, defined benefit schemes, joint household modelling |
| Pension Consolidation Review | From £950 | Up to four schemes in the standard fee; more schemes quoted separately |
| Inheritance Tax Conversation | From £720 | Property and gift history complexity; summary note included |
| Protection Needs Assessment | From £480 | Existing policies to review; product arrangement fees if you proceed later |
| Investment Suitability Review | From £1,100 | Number of ISAs and general accounts; recent lump sums |
Introductory calls of around twenty minutes are complimentary and used to confirm whether we are a fit. A deposit may be requested to reserve the main session date; see our refunds & cancellations page.
How fees are agreed
After the introductory call we send a short engagement letter naming the consultation, fee, and what is included. Work begins once you accept. We do not switch between monthly and annual subscription models — these are one-off or staged advice fees for defined pieces of work.
When quotes vary
Estates with multiple properties, overseas pension elements outside our scope, or more than four deferred workplace schemes usually need a bespoke quote. We will say so early rather than stretch a “from” price.
